November 12, 2009 I have added a new video to the Tepui project page. The new temple has a central power core that players must disable before they can destroy the warfare node in each team's base. I am still working on models as I have time and will keep udating the page as often as I can. I have also redesigned how you view the website. The digital project page will now show a picture of each project. After clicking on the project image, you will be directed to the corresponding page. To get back to the main page, all you need to do is click the HOME icon next to the "Traditional" button. You may also still browse each project from the individual pages by clicking on the number you would like to view. I have also posted my updated resume which you may view and/or download by clicking on the "Resume" button and the top. October 8, 2009 The Tepui Unreal 3 mod video has been updated to include a newer variation of the temple. It may be viewed on project page 2. The changes that have been made include extensive material network revisions for better performance and smaller file size. The new network consists of 2 texture maps (diffuse and normal) and from this a parallax map effect and specular map are derived. The remaining stone textures have been completed and technology models will be added soon. Check back soon for another update with new static meshes. September 25, 2009 There has been an update to the Tepui video on the project 2 page in the digital section. I have added force fields that will direct players to complete a series of events before they may destroy the main power source to win the game. There has also been updated texture work to the structure. September 11, 2009 I have updated the website projects page to add a new mod I am currently working on. There is a video posted of the current iteration of the main structure. This is only the current shell of the base and there is more work to be done on constructing several meshes before it is complete. Check back every so often for updates on the progress. I also uploaded a new version of my demo reel. It is a clearer version of the flash one up under the demo reel section. August 26, 2009 I have spent a good deal of time developing the main temple shell for the Unreal 3 Mod Tepui. I will be posting an updated video to the projects section where you can view a camera fly thru of the main structure in a little while. Check back soon to view the video. August 13, 2009 I have updated and uploaded my new demo reel. You can view it by clicking on the Demo Reel tab. There are 3 different versions: the default flash video that loads on the page and then there is a high quality and low quality version (84mb and 51mb respectively). August 9, 2009 Today, all of the projects in the Digital section got updated with new text to better explain each of them. I am currently working on a new demo reel and it will be posted as soon as I finish it. August 8, 2009 I have added a new project to the Digital project section. By clicking on the second project you will be able to see Sloppy Ice, a game concept for the Wii and iPhone, which won the 2009 SXSW Screenburn Competition in Austin, Texas for casual game design. I have taken new screenshots of one of my environments and updated them to the site, which can be viewed under project 1 in the digital section. There have also been updates made to the guns projects in the digital section (projects 4 & 5). August 7, 2009 I have reworked project 3 on the digital page. The model has been updated to reflect a more efficient use of triangles. The textures have been tweaked as a result of the update to the mesh. It can be viewed by clicking the Digital tab and then clicking on the thrid project. July 27, 2009 I updated several aspects of my portfolio website to include new sections. I have added a Traditional Art section and this blog section, so I may update the current state of my work. There will also be a general restructuring of this website's layout to allow for more practicle browsing as well as more space to include better descriptions of my work. I am out of town and will update the website further when I return. |
